Packaging mechanic

You'll be the backbone of our production line, ensuring our life-saving products are packaged efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. Experience: 3+ years of mechanical experience, ideally within a pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, or food manufacturing environment. Technical Savvy: Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and basic PLC troubleshooting. Attention to Detail: In the pharma world, the small things matter. You take pride in clean, precise work. Communication: Ability to document technical issues clearly and hand off shift reports effectively. salary: $62,000 - $67,000 per year shift: First work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM education: High School Responsibilities Setup & Changeovers: Perform rapid and precise equipment changeovers between product runs. Maintenance: Execute preventative maintenance (PMs) and emergency repairs on high-speed fillers, cappers, labelers, and cartooners. Troubleshooting: Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues on the fly to minimize downtime. Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to cGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) and SOPs, ensuring all documentation is accurate and "audit-ready." Collaboration: Work closely with Quality Assurance and Production Supervisors to optimize line performance.
