Siemens is looking for a Production Maintenance Technician (2nd shift); hours are 4pm - 12:30am. This position will be based at 2902 Mayfield Rd. Grand Prairie, TX. The qualified candidate must have the willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays as required and on potentially short notice. Join our team as an Industrial Maintenance Technician and become a key player in ensuring the continuous and efficient operation of our manufacturing facility. We are looking for a highly motivated self-starter with a fundamental background in electrical and mechanical systems. You will make an impact by: Safety & Hazard Recognition: Adhere to all company safety policies, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures, and ensure all work is compliant with regulatory standards. Watches out for coworkers and reports and follows up on safety items through completion - See Something - Say Something - Safety Owner. Strong Customer Service, Communication, and Interpersonal skills - Ability to deliver information at all levels to ensure customer satisfaction standards are maintained. Proactive communicator to identify and address threats to production goals. Team focus to ensure "WE" above "me". Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, including motors, pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, and PLC-controlled equipment with consistent Attention to Detail. Strives to find root cause to prevent repeat failures. Mechanical aptitude - able to operate hand and power tools and chose the right tools for the job. Can safely evaluate and operate rigging equipment (cranes, hoists, engine lifters) and correctly size the below the hook devices to the intended lift. Electrical Systems: Utilizes Digital multi-meters, Megohmmeters, Amp Clamps, TC probes, and Thermal Imaging cameras to safely diagnose electrical circuit status. Evaluate, test, and repair single-phase and three-phase electrical circuits, controls, and components, including VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives), Laser Marking Cells, Robotic Test Cells, sensors, and instrumentation. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work performed, parts used, and equipment history in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities You'll win us over by having the following qualifications: Basic Qualifications: Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree or Technical certification in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Technology, or a related field is highly preferred. Experience: 1+ years of hands-on experience in an industrial or manufacturing maintenance environment. Basic proficiency in electrical troubleshooting (up to 480V three-phase). . Fundamental understanding of mechanical systems (e.g., hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyor systems, rigging (welding/ millwright experience is a bonus). Ability to read and interpret electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic schematics and blueprints. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work, including climbing stairs and ladders. Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship. Preferred Qualifications: Working knowledge of PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers)-ability to read schematics and troubleshoot inputs/outputs is a must; programming experience is a plus You'll Benefit From Siemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to our employees. The pay range for this position is $49,980 - $85,680 annually. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
