As the University’s primary Veterinarian, you will promote ethical practices and strengthen the institution’s research mission. We seek a seasoned, strategic leader adept in laboratory animal medicine and comprehensive care program management. The perfect candidate will possess: A DVM or equivalent advanced degree in veterinary medicine, with eligibility for licensure in Alabama. At least 10 years of experience in laboratory animal medicine and care program management. Board certification by the American College of Laboratory Animal Medicine (ACLAM) or a similar organization; USDA veterinary accreditation preferred.
