Job Description Join our team as a Commercial Parts Specialist, where you will play a crucial role in driving the growth of our commercial business! This position requires a professional-level sales approach, focusing on fostering strong customer relationships and ensuring profitable development. Primary Responsibilities Build and maintain strong relationships with commercial customers. Deliver an exceptional GAS2 selling experience for commercial clients. Meet or exceed personal and store sales targets while achieving service objectives. Provide day-to-day support and supervision for Team Members. Collaborate with the General Manager on coaching and development initiatives for your team. Ensure timely and accurate delivery by effectively dispatching drivers. Maintain and optimize commercial stocking programs. Develop a reliable network of second source suppliers. Secondary Responsibilities Oversee the management of core bank and commercial returns. Administer commercial credit accounts to ensure compliance and functionality. Work alongside the General Manager to ensure sufficient driver coverage. Success Factors Exemplary communication skills that foster positive interactions. Proficient in locating and stocking automotive parts. Knowledge of safety procedures and best practices. Experience with inventory systems and store equipment. Deep understanding of parts and automotive systems. Able to operate POS and parts lookup systems effectively. ASE P2 certified or equivalent preferred. Ability to analyze and suggest advanced solutions and product recommendations. Strong multitasking ability while maintaining organization. Effective problem-solving skills through communication and active listening. Essential Skills for Success Comprehensive understanding of automotive systems including engines, brakes, electrical systems, and more. English fluency required; Spanish language skills are a plus. Ability to interpret various documents, including safety instructions and procedure manuals. Capable of following both written and oral instructions. Demonstrated proficiency in basic math. Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel). Excellent organization skills. Familiarity with commercial profitability concepts, including market analysis. Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed. Prior Experience A minimum of 3 years of automotive parts experience is preferred. Proven sales track record with experience in customer transactions. Experience in leading teams and supervising daily activities. Education A high school diploma or GED is required. Certifications ASE certification is preferred, but not mandatory. Physical Demands This job requires frequent walking or standing, with the ability to talk, hear, and use hands effectively. You may need to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities include close and distance vision as well as depth perception. Work Environment The work environment is primarily indoors, with occasional outdoor tasks while exposed to various weather conditions. You may encounter moving mechanical parts, high places, and moderate noise levels. This position offers the potential for sales commissions based on individual and store performance.
