Opportunity Overview: As a Retail HR Business Partner, you will play a vital role in supporting our rapidly growing retail operations. Your responsibilities will include serving as a trusted advisor to retail leaders, guiding talent strategies, addressing employee relations, enhancing leadership capabilities, and ensuring our people programs effectively support POP MART's fast-paced, high-growth business. You will contribute to driving performance, elevating employee engagement, and ensuring compliance as we expand into new markets. This position may be based at our Culver City, CA office or in the San Francisco, CA area. What You Will Achieve Serve as the primary HR contact for the Retail population, focusing on various HR functions, including talent review, recruitment, performance management, employee relations, and leadership development training. Oversee and align internal retail operation procedures, including promotions, transfers, compensation changes, and position management to support daily performance. Provide daily performance management guidance to district and store management, including coaching, counseling, and career development. Ensure a positive employee relations environment by coaching on policies and procedures, promoting workplaces free from discrimination and unethical practices. Partner with hiring managers to identify and fill critical roles while retaining top talent. Deliver exceptional HR support in core functions such as employee relations, recruitment, performance management, compensation, benefits, and development. Stay informed about labor laws and regulations to ensure compliance and provide ongoing HR coaching. Act as a thought partner to field retail leadership, assessing organizational health and fostering the engagement, development, and retention of talent. Implement companywide HR programs, tailoring them to meet the business's needs and aligning with store goals. Analyze store climate through employee feedback surveys and create meaningful action plans to enhance employee experiences. What You Will Need Bachelor's degree or a combination of education and experience that ensures success in this role. 8-10 years of experience in HR or retail management, with at least 5 years in a similar HRBP role within the retail industry. Proficient knowledge of federal and multi-state employment regulations; knowledge of various state regulations a plus. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with customers, management, and staff. Excellent time management abilities, capable of multitasking, prioritizing, and managing projects. High learning agility to thrive in a fast-paced and rapidly growing business environment. Enhanced organizational and planning skills to navigate a dynamic work setting. Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism. Physical Requirements Must be able to remain in a stationary position (e.g., seated or at a desk) for extended periods while operating a computer or office equipment. Must be able to occasionally lift or move items weighing up to 25 pounds. Willingness and ability to travel to retail locations, approximately 50% travel required.
