Job DescriptionAt Wynn Design & Development, the accounts payable (AP) department keeps our financial systems running smoothly by managing budgets and paying vendors and suppliers. We are searching for a brilliant Leader to join our AP team to help process, track, and record payments in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner. The AP Manager will be managing the department, ensuring work is processed correctly, confirming all invoices are paid on time, and on good terms with our valued partners. This is an in-office, full-time position Monday – Friday 8am-5pm, located in Downtown Summerlin.Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities Training and supervising of AP staff; develop them to their full potential.Distribution of work to employees; ensure work flows smoothlyHelp employees to prioritize their workReview staff’s processed documents before checks are cut.Process Daily check run.Assists purchasing with any problems they may have relating to the payment of vendors or any other questions that arise.Assist in submitting credit applications for vendors.Process wire transfers, deposit transfersProcess refund checksProcess Employee Expense ReportsManage Petty Cash; replenish monthlyAP corrections in SpectrumProblem solvingProcessing the Accounts Payable invoicesEntering invoices into SpectrumProcess change orders Qualifications: Qualifications A college degree in a related field is preferred, but not required. Associate’s degree or equivalentExperience with financial A/P applicationsStrong mathematical skillsExperience in accounts payableExperience in Construction accountingExperience with accounting software and online platformsUnderstanding of basic principles of math, finance, accounting, and bookkeepingAbility to understand how/what information entered into the systems means for reporting and be able to identify any discrepanciesSuperb time management skills and detail orientationAbility to maintain confidentiality of company and partner informationCommunicate effectively with othersStrong interpersonal skills Proficiency: Spectrum SoftwareMicrosoft Office Applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams)10-key Key Competencies for this role are as follows: Maintains a polished, professional appearance at all times for staff to follow each dayExhibits superior verbal and written communicationAbility to make sound decisions under pressure situationsMust be able to perform in a high-volume, fast pace environmentVision and strategic thinking – set clear long – term goalsUpholds high ethical standardsConfidence and Composure – maintains focus in high-pressured situationsOversee initiatives from conception to completionAdaptability and Resilience – Adjust to changing circumstances effectively Additional InformationWynn Resorts is an equal opportunity employer committed to hiring a diverse workforce and sustaining an inclusive culture.
