Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced OT Network Support Engineer with strong expertise in Cisco networking technologies, routing and switching, and network security. The ideal candidate will have experience working in Operational Technology (OT) environments, supporting critical infrastructure systems in compliance with NERC CIP, GAS TSA, and other regulatory standards. This role focuses on maintaining secure, reliable, and compliant network operations across industrial control and enterprise systems. Key Responsibilities: Provide hands-on implementation, configuration, and support of OT and IT network infrastructure components. Manage and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs in high-availability environments. Ensure network reliability, redundancy, and security across OT networks supporting critical systems. Collaborate with cybersecurity, SCADA, and IT operations teams to maintain secure connectivity between enterprise and operational networks. Monitor and analyze network performance, latency, and security events to proactively identify and resolve issues. Support and maintain compliance with NERC CIP, GAS TSA, and other applicable regulatory frameworks. Develop and maintain network topology diagrams, asset inventories, and configuration documentation. Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and network hardening initiatives. Recommend and implement network optimization and security improvements aligned with industry best practices. Support change management and disaster recovery planning and testing for network infrastructure. Required Skills & Qualifications: 5-10 years of experience in network engineering, administration, or OT network support. Strong hands-on expertise in Cisco networking technologies - routers, switches, firewalls, and VPN solutions. Proficiency in network routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) and switching technologies (VLANs, STP, trunking). Solid understanding of network security principles, segmentation, and access control. Experience with NERC CIP, GAS TSA, or other energy/utility regulatory compliance frameworks. Familiarity with industrial control systems (ICS), SCADA, and OT security best practices. Experience with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Wireshark, SNMP-based monitoring). Working knowledge of firewalls (Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, or Fortinet) and VPN configuration. Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills. Good to Have: Cisco certifications (CCNP, CCNA Security, or CCIE) preferred. Exposure to ICS/SCADA systems or energy/utility domain environments. Familiarity with cloud-based networking (Azure/AWS) or SD-WAN technologies. Knowledge of OT cybersecurity frameworks (ISA/IEC 62443). Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
