Position Summary As a CNA, you will assist residents with their daily hygiene and personal care needs, ensuring they receive comprehensive care that addresses their social, emotional, mental, spiritual, and physical well-being. Essential Duties Provide daily hygiene care for residents. Understand and respect residents' preferences to tailor care appropriately. Document care accurately and report any discrepancies to the relevant personnel. Adhere to safety protocols, infection control practices, and risk management measures. Maintain regular communication with your supervisor about residents' status and any concerns. Complete additional duties as required. Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent. Colorado State Certified Nursing Assistant License. 3 to 6 months of experience in long-term care is preferred. Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently. Excellent customer service skills are a must. Working Conditions and Physical Requirements This position requires medium to heavy physical work, including heavy lifting and mobility activities. Frequent standing and walking, with occasional kneeling, squatting, and reaching above shoulder height. Exposure to blood-borne pathogens, bodily fluids, and communicable diseases may occur. Expect frequent interruptions and interaction with residents, family members, and visitors.
