Republic Finance is excited to offer internships within our Branch Operations program! As a Branch Operations Intern, you'll dive into the day-to-day functions and operations of our branches. This is a fantastic opportunity to engage with team members and leaders, gaining real-world experience while exploring various aspects of our organization. You will be involved in learning our unique sales and customer service approach, compliance training, and loan closing processes. In addition, you’ll participate in key projects related to continuous improvement, providing a broader understanding of our business and the numerous career opportunities we present. We offer our Branch Operations Interns $15.00 per hour, with the potential for full-time employment upon successful completion of the internship, starting after graduation! As a Branch Operations Intern, you will have the chance to: Become licensed and participate in an accelerated Assistant Branch Manager Program to master loan processes and regulatory training. Assist with the daily operations of loan origination, processing, closings, and funding, including file allocation for document preparation and auditing closed files. Collaborate closely with your Manager and Regional Vice President to understand their responsibilities and career pathways within the company. Participate in regional meetings and workshops (whenever available) for greater exposure to the Branch Operations division. Gain insights into one or more process improvement projects within Branch Operations. Explore corporate roles where Branch experience is highly valued, such as Audit, Compliance, Training, and Recruiting while also receiving an overview of our benefits during your internship. Requirements Current Junior or Senior majoring in Business, Finance, or a related field Strong eagerness to learn, enthusiasm, reliability, and a solid work ethic. Availability to work a minimum of 18-20 hours per week. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Must meet acceptable standards for criminal background checks, credit history, and pass a pre-employment drug screen. Eligibility to meet insurance licensing requirements for selling voluntary insurance products. Fluency in Spanish is required for this position.
