The Construction Maintenance Technician is responsible for being innovative and reliable, ability to work with subcontractors on behalf of PSCN, apply for building permits, read blueprints, dispose of demolition materials, and manage projects by following schedules and timelines, work at and with other campuses. Be able to perform the following general construction skills, masonry, carpentry, framing, plumbing, drywall, painting, electrical, roofing and flooring. Have excellent communication skills, ability to lead projects, coach and educate team members and open to coaching. Requirements for the Construction Maintenance Technician: At least 7 years of experience in construction. At least 5 years’ experience in campus setting. Relevant licenses and bonds. Strong handyman/building skills. Ability to operate power tools and hand tools following all safety standards. Ability to read architectural drawings and blueprints. Must be able to work independently as well as in group situations. Driver’s Licenses required (has car and willingness to travel) The employee must frequently lift/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
