About the Role As a Fastenal Picking Associate, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring that customer orders are accurately and efficiently fulfilled. You'll work in a fast-paced warehouse environment, using various tools and technologies to locate, pick, and prepare items for shipment. Key Responsibilities â ¢ Order Picking: Accurately pick items from warehouse locations based on customer orders, using RF scanners or pick lists. â ¢ Item Verification: Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy and prevent errors. â ¢ Packaging and Labeling: Package picked items securely and apply appropriate shipping labels. â ¢ Inventory Management: Assist with inventory counts and maintain accurate records of item locations. â ¢ Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure efficient picking operations. â ¢ Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations, including wearing appropriate safety equipment. â ¢ Team Collaboration: Work effectively with team members to meet daily picking goals and deadlines. â ¢ Documentation: Maintain accurate records of picked items and order fulfillment.
