Job Overview: Ensure exceptional service and cleanliness standards in Hotel and Food & Beverage divisions. Establish and uphold guest service standards in collaboration with general management. Stay informed on industry trends and develop programs that foster high levels of team performance. Maintain and enhance hotel systems and procedures for optimal efficiency. Oversee and analyze hotel room rates and occupancy projections. Act as a key communication link among critical departments, including Hotel, Marketing, Sales, Food & Beverage, and Gaming. Provide strategic recommendations to senior management regarding capital improvements and routine maintenance needs. Work with department heads to formulate service plans for business needs. Manage the budgeting process for relevant departments. Collaborate with the Sales team to optimize group sales programs and packages. Identify deficiencies or issues and deploy appropriate resources to achieve desired outcomes. Assist in menu development and recipe planning alongside the Executive Chef and corporate operations. May be required to assist at affiliate properties as directed by management, with travel arrangements as determined. Oversee safety regulations and departmental safety compliance. Manage and control food and beverage costs effectively. Build and maintain productive relationships with Corporate Food and Beverage operations. Oversee training programs for new hires and provide ongoing training for all team members. Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive maintenance program, ensuring compliance with corporate and local regulations to maintain property standards and guest satisfaction. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including those set forth by the PA Gaming Control Board, and manage complimentary services in line with approved guidelines. Qualifications: College degree or university program certificate or five to eight years of relevant management experience in a hospitality environment. Ability to interpret documents including safety rules and procedure manuals. Strong written communication skills for routine reports and correspondence. Effective verbal communication skills for presentations to customers and team members. Ability to follow instructions in various formats. Strong problem-solving skills in standardized situations with concrete variables. Excellent verbal communication and administrative skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Comprehensive knowledge of hotel and food & beverage management and financial reporting. Must qualify for and maintain all necessary regulatory licenses, including those required by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board, with a thorough understanding of Responsible Gaming Programs.
