As the Associate Director of Medical Services, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and mentoring primary care providers (PCPs) within your center, ensuring the highest standards of clinical quality and patient satisfaction. While you will be responsible for driving clinical outcomes, you'll also engage in direct patient care, balancing leadership duties with hands-on practice. Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive care for patients with acute and chronic illnesses tailored to older adults. Take full accountability for patient care outcomes, collaborating effectively with specialists as necessary. Engage with hospitalists for patients admitted to hospitals, maintaining continuous involvement in patient care. Conduct assessments, diagnoses, and manage treatment plans, ensuring education and care coordination is provided to patients with complex health needs. Lead a dedicated care team, including medical assistants and care coordinators, and facilitate engagement with transitional care for patients unable to visit the office. Organize and lead weekly Super Huddles and Transforming Care Meetings while filling in for center leadership as needed. Contribute to the recruitment and interview processes for new providers, working alongside center management to enhance clinical operations and financial performance. Mentor PCPs to achieve outstanding clinical outcomes, and participate in leadership rounding. Qualifications: MD or DO in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, or a similar specialty is required. Active medical licensure in your state of practice. Minimum of 1-year clinical experience in geriatrics, adult, or family practice is preferred. Board certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, or similar specialty is preferred; Board Eligibility is required. Current DEA number for controlled substances and BLS certification must be obtained within 90 days of employment. Compensation and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $238,832 - $341,189.
