Grocery Order Fulfillment Associate plays a crucial role in providing an exceptional online shopping experience by efficiently selecting and gathering high-quality products for customer orders. This position involves assembling customer orders, processing payments and coupons, and delivering orders directly to customers' vehicles during pick-up. Our goal is to create a delightful shopping experience that encourages customers to return for online shopping while exemplifying the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety. Key Responsibilities: Efficiently gather and select products for online orders, focusing on freshness and quality. Initiate and complete the order selection process for customer purchases. Assemble customer orders, process payments, and ensure a smooth loading process into customers' vehicles. Follow proper bagging standards while scanning and packing orders on the go. Communicate any substitutions or exceptions to customers upon their arrival. Deliver a seamless shopping experience by meeting and exceeding customer expectations regarding variety, cleanliness, and freshness. Adhere to all food safety procedures and guidelines as required by local, state, and federal laws. Receive customer orders and organize products in appropriate temperature zones. Inspect and maintain cleanliness and organization of staging areas and equipment. Assist customers with their orders, using a portable device for professional communication. Process orders through the point of sale system accurately. Manage out-of-stock situations by implementing policies for substitutions efficiently. Report any discrepancies in pricing, scanning, or item locations to management. Perform equipment inspections and promptly notify supervisors of any repair needs. Help train new team members and foster a collaborative work environment. Exhibit a positive demeanor under pressure and resolve conflicts calmly and effectively. Support customers of all ages, ensuring a welcoming shopping experience for everyone. Complete all necessary opening and closing procedures as required. Operate with honesty and integrity concerning customer and business information. Be capable of performing all essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation. Qualifications: Ability to work independently without supervision. Proficient in reading shelf tags. Basic math skills, including counting, addition, and subtraction. Strong oral and written communication skills. Preferred Experience: Experience as a personal shopper, in a production-oriented environment, stocking shelves, or as a cashier is desirable.
