Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner - Primary Care

Vivo HealthStaff is recruiting for a Primary Care or Women's Health Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Pleasanton, California. This is a contract position starting at 1 day per week, with potential to ramp up to a 5 day per week W2 position based on fit. Position: Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Specialty: Primary Care or Women's Health Location: Pleasanton, California Schedule: 1 day per week to start, with potential to increase to full-time Compensation: Competitive hourly rate (1099 contract) Job Description: Our client is seeking a skilled and compassionate NP or PA to join their outpatient practice on a part-time contract basis. The clinician will provide comprehensive care with a strong emphasis on well-woman exams and primary care services. The position offers the opportunity to expand to a full-time role based on performance and clinic needs. Responsibilities: Perform well-woman exams, including Pap smears and breast exams Provide routine primary care, including chronic disease management and preventive care Order and interpret diagnostic tests Prescribe medications under an active DEA license Document all care in the EMR system Collaborate with other clinical staff as needed Requirements: Minimum 2 years of clinical experience as an NP or PA Active California NP or PA license Active DEA license Must be comfortable performing Pap smears and women's health exams Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work independently in a clinical setting Preferred Qualifications: Experience in both women's health and primary care settings EMR proficiency Additional Languages is a plus
