Structural Engineering Manager

Apollo Technical has an immediate need for a Structural Engineering Manager in the Raleigh NC area Responsibilities: • Lead the remodel division, managing projects ranging from minor structural alterations to fullscale residential and commercial renovations. Manage a team of EIT's and PE's to ensure projects are completed accurately and in a timely manner and that communications are upheld with the client. • Collaborate closely with homeowners, architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure all structural and design specifications are met. • Obtain relevant information at onsite consultations and field meetings, use field collected data for problem solving and design changes during construction. • Interpret sealed engineering drawings and confirm compliance with field framing • Incorporate wood, reinforced concrete, and steel into designs. • Develop and implement structural system designs using AutoCAD • Design and issue field repairs in a timely manner for unforeseen circumstances or framing errors • Maintain office standards of production, completeness, and clarity in design documentation Qualifications and Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. • Must hold active NC PE Certification • 6+ years of Residential Structural Design, with experience in remodels • Candidate must have strong math, analytical skills, communication, writing skills with an advanced understanding of residential structural engineering and knowledge of local codes. • Experience with wood, structural steel, and reinforced concrete design. • AutoCAD experience preferred • Excellent technical writing and communication abilities If interested apply online or email resumes to Apply
