Our dedicated team, operating in over 70 treatment centers across various states, specializes in medication-assisted treatment, counseling, and care management. We focus on treating the whole person, addressing the root causes of OUD to foster a continuum of care that supports patients on their recovery journeys. Job Summary: As a Dosing Nurse, you will work under the guidance of the Medical Director and Program Director, playing a crucial role in promoting and restoring patients' health. You will collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members while providing compassionate support to patients. Essential Functions: Administer medication as per physician orders and maintain accurate records of dosages administered. Conduct daily inventory checks of medication supplies, ensuring precise accounting and safeguarding of medications. Handle cash reconciliation and fees in the absence of a cashier, reporting to the Program Director daily. Receive and verify incoming medication shipments; promptly report any discrepancies. Dispose of medical waste following proper protocols. Observe patient behavior and communicate any concerns to the Medical Director or Registered Nurse. Administer required lab tests, collect vital signs, and assist in patient scheduling. Maintain strict confidentiality and compliance with all relevant privacy regulations. Engage actively in CARF preparation and state audit processes. Provide excellent customer service to patients and visitors, ensuring a welcoming environment. Qualifications: To thrive in this role, you should possess an active nursing license in your state, along with a deep understanding of opiate addiction and general nursing practices. A minimum of one year of direct patient contact experience is required, along with strong attention to detail and excellent interpersonal skills.
