TRIGO Global Quality Solutions is seeking to fill a Quality Manager position in Greer, SC.Overall PurposeThe Quality Manager is responsible for ensuring a company's policies and procedures comply with regulatory and ethical standards. Quality Manager will be required to travel within the area to perform regular audits, implement company policies, and design control systems.The Quality Manager will perform duties at the professional level in some or all of the following functional areas: quality operating system functions, ISO/IATF/AS Technical Specification, employee relations, training, etc. Maintain proper company documentation. Must be sensitive to company needs, employee goodwill, requirements/goodwill, and industry standards.May Report toGeneral ManagerResponsibilitiesClient relationship & Business development Works with support and site teams to standardize and refine existing processes Interface with customers for specific quality needsAssists support and site teams on specific customer needs and expectationsWorks directly with teams and customers on non-conformance issuesAssists in maintaining Customer-mandated safety and insurance requirements Assists sites and departments in the creation of procedures and work instructionsAssists region/site with quality related question or issuesManage schedules and performs internal auditsSupports Corrective Action investigation and documentationSupports Continuous Improvement projectsPrepares and chairs Health & Safety Committee meetingsAnalyzes company Health & Safety dataAssists Health & Safety Committee in reviewing policies and standardsComplies with local and company Health & Safety legislation, laws, and policiesCreates and updates core quality system documentation, procedures and work standardsEstablishes and develops Management ReviewsAssists company in compliance managementUpdate and manage the QMS files in the company portalCommunicates with site and company Management on audit resultsAssists Management in establishing and reviewing company and operational KPIs and other metricsMakes specific recommendations based on quality systems needs and metricsAnalyzes data collected that support the QMS, Quality Policy and Scope of BusinessRecommends, supports and assists Management in driving quality and process improvements and financial waste reductionUpdates company portalManage the QSM programs, Lead Auditor TrainedCreates robust documentation management systems using e-toolsPursuit of activities required to achieve and maintain ISO9001 registrationCreate electronic work instructions and navigate company websites and portals Other Any other duties as assigned Knowledge, skills, abilitiesHard Skills Proficiency in EnglishHigh-level Microsoft Office capability, including email, Word, and Excel Familiarity of the Windows PC and browser environmentsStrong knowledge of LEAN practices, AutoCAD and 8DSix Sigma methodology a bonusAbility to read and understand blueprintsWork Instruction WritingCorrective Action WritingLeadership skills to conduct workshops and drive continuous improvementExcellent problem-solving skillsAbility to work effectively on a team or individuallyProcess OrientedHigh-level communication skillsTechnical writing capabilities Values and attitudesGlobal team spirit Team playerCaring for peopleOpen-minded Excellence ReactiveResilient to pressureRigorous Customer focus Client orientedReliable & trustworthyFlexible Initiative AutonomousInnovativeDaring Work experienceOverall recommendations Heavy Automotive experience in Quality/OperationsExperience in warehouse operations- sorting, inspection, packaging and shipping (inbound and outbound)Strong communication skills- written, computer, verbalExpert MS Office software- Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, WordFamiliarity with automotive supplier requirementsISO/TS 16949, 9001 & IATF Audit experience and / or trainingEfficient time management / multi-tasking / team working skills in a high pressure environmentExperience with problem solving, statistical, and analytical skills.Experience leading and managing employees / teams.Experience in Quality Operations SQE certification is a plus Education backgroundOverall recommendations Associate's degree or greater in business management, engineering, or a related field is helpful TRIGO13About TRIGO Global Quality SolutionsFounded in 1997, TRIGO is a multinational company providing operational Quality Management solutions for the manufacturing sector, especially in the automotive and aerospace industries.
