Provide education for patients and families to reinforce progress outside of therapy sessions. Participate in occasional inpatient speech therapy assessments and interventions to ensure unified continuity of care. Document all patient interactions accurately, following state, federal, and organizational policies. Education A Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from a recognized institution. Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) required for those who are not yet ASHA-certified. Certifications Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
