POSITION SUMMARY: Are you a skilled maintenance mechanic looking for an exciting opportunity? Join our team as a Maintenance Mechanic, where you will be responsible for a variety of mechanical tasks, working with CNC work centers, building maintenance, and some electrical maintenance throughout our facility with minimal supervision. Shift Details: - Evening Shift: Monday to Thursday from 2:00 PM to 12:00 AM - Enjoy an additional $1.50/hour shift premium! ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform comprehensive preventative maintenance on all production equipment, machinery, and overall building as needed. Conduct mechanical and a limited amount of electrical work on facility equipment while adhering to established codes. Install replacement parts and components on machinery as required. Carry out air compressor preventative maintenance and fulfill all weekly service requirements. Assist in the installation of new equipment and relocating existing equipment as necessary. Collaborate with area Team Leaders to repair machinery with minimal downtime, ensuring maximum production efficiency. Provide support to outside contractors when needed. Maintain accurate records by inputting information into the maintenance tracking system. Troubleshoot equipment using wiring diagrams, schematic drawings, and electrical testing devices as needed. Work with the EHS Coordinator to ensure overall OSHA compliance. Operate the wastewater treatment system, ensuring it meets all operational specifications. Perform cleaning, filter changing, and miscellaneous maintenance tasks as required. MARGINAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintain good housekeeping practices within the facility. Assist in developing more efficient manufacturing methods, procedures, and equipment. Support fellow maintenance personnel as necessary. Locate replacement parts and part numbers as needed. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: A two-year degree in a related field with two years of experience in Industrial Maintenance is preferred. Previous experience in welding and CNC maintenance repairs is also advantageous. QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS: Strong communication and problem-solving abilities. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously. Positive collaboration with individuals both inside and outside of the organization. Familiarity with computers and Microsoft products. Solid understanding of PLC and CNC controlled equipment.
