A full-semester contract opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist in a K-12 school setting located in Sterling Heights, MI. This role offers a full-time schedule with a 35-hour workweek, structured as 7-hour days, including dedicated time for paperwork, planning, and indirect duties. Key responsibilities include managing a caseload across all grade levels, with the greatest demand in elementary schools. Flexibility regarding age groups is valued, and efforts will be made to accommodate preferences where possible. Typical caseloads for full-time positions range from 50 to 60 students, providing a dynamic and engaging professional environment. Essential qualifications and experience: Active Michigan Speech-Language Pathology licensure (MI SLP licensure required) Credentials including SLP Credentialed Certification of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY) are welcomed; CFY applicants will be considered Experience or familiarity with school systems such as PowerSchool (IEP System), MyStar (Student Information System), and EdPlan (Medicaid Billing) is preferred to support the district's administrative and clinical processes Ability and willingness to work onsite throughout the contract period This position involves critical contributions to student development and requires strong clinical skills alongside effective collaboration with educators and support staff.
