Otolaryngology Registered Nurse (16 hours/week)

Department/Unit: Otolaryngology (ENT) Work Shift: Day Salary Range: $83,200.00 - $128,960.00 We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Otolaryngology Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. In this role, you will work under the guidance of a physician or advanced practice provider (APP) while collaborating with a skilled team of healthcare professionals. Your responsibilities will include providing exceptional patient care, triaging both in-person and telephonic inquiries, and ensuring the effective implementation of care plans during clinic visits. Key Responsibilities: Accurately obtain and record patients' vital signs, promptly reporting any abnormal findings to the treating provider. Gather and document comprehensive patient histories (medical, surgical, and social) along with focused physical assessments as per clinic procedures. Administer medications and treatments in the clinic setting under the supervision of a physician or APP. Assist in in-office procedures as required for the clinic specialty, documenting all results in the Electronic Health Record (EHR). Review and triage incoming test results, patient requests, and pharmacy refill needs while facilitating necessary patient call-backs. Contribute to positive patient outcomes through effective resource utilization while supporting local and national quality metrics. Delegate appropriate tasks to LPNs and/or Medical Assistants as per licensure guidelines. Support compliance with internal policies and The Joint Commission regulations. Participate in the orientation and education of new staff members. Engage in continuous education to enhance clinical knowledge pertinent to the Otolaryngology specialty. Provide patient education regarding their visits and overall health and wellness.
