Overview: The Services Procurement Manager is essential in shaping and implementing procurement strategies for service categories, focusing on partnerships with third-party systems implementation firms, professional services, and comprehensive field services (installation, maintenance, support). This role calls for a strategic thinker with strong sourcing capabilities and exceptional negotiation expertise. The successful candidate will foster supplier relationships, champion continuous improvement, and align procurement strategies with overall business objectives. Key Responsibilities: Craft and enforce innovative sourcing strategies for systems integration services. Perform market research to identify trends that will guide sourcing decisions. Lead competitive bidding processes and negotiate effective Statements of Work (SOWs) as well as performance-based agreements. Initiate cost reduction strategies through adept negotiation and process optimizations. Develop strategic partnerships with key service providers and oversee vendor performance management. Identify and manage supply chain risks related to assigned service categories. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure cohesive procurement strategies. Manage the entire contract lifecycle, maintaining compliance and proper oversight. Ensure adherence to company policies and relevant regulatory standards. Generate procurement data and reports to monitor performance and uncover opportunities. Propose process enhancements to boost operational efficiency. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. 8+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, and category management. Demonstrated experience in managing service procurement for large-scale technology initiatives. Proven track record of achieving substantial cost savings through effective negotiation. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities. Understanding of contract law and procurement best practices. Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and e-sourcing platforms. Ability to work independently and manage multiple project timelines. Proficient in establishing strong connections with suppliers and internal collaborators.
