A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity:Cath Lab Technologist - Cardiac Cath Lab Job Details:• Work in a 2-procedure room cardiac catheterization laboratory on the 1st floor of the main building• Team consists of 3 team members for each patient procedure• One full weekend plus 2 weekdays for a total of 10 shifts per four-week schedule• Day shift includes 1 supervisor, 4 RNs, and 2 Cath Lab Techs• Night shift operates with on-call staff only (2 RNs and 1 Cath Lab Tech or 1 RN and 2 Cath Lab Techs)• Work with Phillips and Siemens Fluoro equipment• Use MERGE Hemo Cath Lab documentation system and Meditech EMR• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT, TX license• Hospital provided sky blue scrubs required• Floating to Pre/Post Cath Department as needed• Perform left and right heart catheterizations, pacemaker/ICD procedures, Watchman procedures, IR procedures, vascular procedures, and EP ablations• Electrophysiology experience preferred• Must be a team player and flexible• Follow procedural guidelines including universal precautions, timeout procedures, and moderated sedation guidelines Facility:This healthcare facility operates a modern cardiac catheterization laboratory with advanced cardiovascular services.
