We are looking for a Senior Product Manager - Developer Experience to join our innovative and diverse team focused on transforming operations through automation. Our mission is to empower software developers to rapidly build and deploy applications, utilizing AI agents to tackle unexpected challenges. In this vital role, you will play a key part in shaping the future of our API and enhancing the developer experience, ensuring smooth integration for our internal teams and external partners with PagerDuty. The ideal candidate will adeptly bridge the gap between product development challenges and API-first principles, working closely with our AI team to craft a cohesive platform strategy. Your essential responsibilities will encompass: Collaborating with product and UX design managers to understand the functionalities of the PagerDuty Operations Cloud and customer journeys. Gathering and prioritizing feedback from internal development teams and external partners to drive improvements. Partnering with engineering and design teams to refine API design and enhance the overall developer experience. Aligning platform strategy with AI initiatives to ensure seamless integration. Defining API access control and monetization requirements, coordinating with relevant teams for effective execution. Building strong relationships with developer tooling companies to deliver strategic integrations. Working closely with marketing to engage the developer community and promote our platform with confidence. Basic Qualifications: A minimum of 5 years of experience in product management within SaaS, enterprise software, or developer tools. Deep understanding of integration architecture, API design, and business process workflows. Exceptional communication skills to foster collaboration with engineering teams effectively. Hands-on experience with third-party APIs and designing RESTful APIs. A proven track record of delivering customer value within fast-paced product teams. Strong analytical capabilities and a data-driven approach to decision-making. Ability to clearly communicate with diverse stakeholders. Empathy for customer needs and a commitment to continuous learning. Proficient in leading cross-functional teams and influencing outcomes positively. Outstanding collaboration skills, making complex topics accessible to all. Preferred Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. A solid understanding of incident response and DevOps workflows. Ideally, candidates will be located near a PagerDuty office in Toronto, Atlanta, or San Francisco. The base salary range for this position is 180,000 - 304,000 USD, with the eligibility for bonuses, commissions, equity, and benefits also applicable.
