Ops Technology Lead - Platform Engineering

You'll play a pivotal role in supporting application deployment and management, while aligning with CASTLE-NET policies. Collaborate with dedicated IT teams, developers, and stakeholders to enhance platform solutions, automate processes, and provide high-level technical support. Key Responsibilities Design and implement robust IT infrastructure platforms. Ensure optimal platform reliability, scalability, and security. Support application deployment and management throughout their lifecycle. Conduct assessments and optimization analysis to enhance platform performance. Implement infrastructure automation and orchestration for efficiency. Develop comprehensive disaster recovery and business continuity strategies. Maintain thorough platform documentation and technical specifications. Mentor junior technical staff and provide essential technical leadership. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field. 8+ years of experience in platform engineering or a related role. In-depth understanding of platform engineering principles. Experience with virtualization, containerization, and cloud platforms. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to manage multiple complex technical initiatives effectively. Proficiency in developing comprehensive technical documentation. Knowledge of data security best practices and compliance standards. Job Specific Skills Infrastructure Platform Design & Implementation. Virtualization & Containerization Technologies. Cloud Platform Management (Azure/AWS/GCC). Automation & Infrastructure as Code. Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity Planning. Preferred Skills Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA). AWS Solutions Architect or Azure Solutions Architect certification. Knowledge of FedRAMP and federal compliance. Expertise in platform assessment and optimization. Familiarity with the CASTLE-NET environment.
