About the RoleThe City of Phoenix Water Services Department is seeking a senior-level Applications Support Lead / Applications Services Manager to provide strategic and operational leadership for its enterprise application portfolio supporting water and wastewater services.This is a hands-off leadership role requiring strong technical understanding to oversee application lifecycle management, modernization initiatives, vendor coordination, governance, and executive reporting.? Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage an enterprise application portfolioOversee application lifecycle planning, modernization, and rationalizationProvide oversight of application upgrades, integrations, testing, deployments, and production supportManage vendors, contracts, operational budgets, and Capital Improvement Projects (CIP)Develop dashboards and executive reports (Power BI or similar tools)Ensure applications meet security, governance, audit, and compliance standardsSupport disaster recovery, business continuity, and audit activitiesCoordinate with IT teams, business stakeholders, finance, and procurementProvide leadership and direction to application services staff and vendors?
