Mammographer (Allied)

Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge, Massachusetts, is seeking a qualified Mammographer (Allied) for a 13-week travel assignment. Position Details: Job Title: Mammographer (Allied) Location: 330 Mount Auburn Street, Cambridge, MA 02138 Shift: Day Shift (8:00 AM start) Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week Contract Duration: 13 weeks Start Date: May 5, 2025 Responsibilities: Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms, including needle localization and other related imaging procedures. Operate imaging equipment and position patients to obtain accurate anatomical information. Calculate exposure factors to minimize radiation exposure to patients. Evaluate radiographs for technical quality and determine if additional images are necessary. Maintain competency in needle localization and/or stereotactic biopsy procedures. Requirements: Active Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist license. ARRT certification. 1-2 years of experience in mammography. COVID-19 vaccination, including booster, and 2024-2025 flu vaccine (no declinations accepted). Candidates must not have worked in a permanent or travel capacity at any Beth Israel facility within the past 6 months. Local candidates are not accepted.
