This role blends executive-level project leadership with hands-on delivery and requires strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. Key Responsibilities Lead project proposals and execution for CIO-driven strategic initiatives Act as liaison between the CIO and IT Senior Leadership Translate technical requirements into business value, ROI, and strategic alignment Develop executive-level presentations and briefing materials Manage and maintain the project demand intake queue Personally lead 2-3 high-priority CIO-only initiatives outside standard delivery scope Serve as rapid-response project leader for urgent executive-level issues Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree 5+ years of experience in project coordination and project management Hands-on experience with project tracking tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, etc.) Strong understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies Preferred Qualifications PMP Certification Arizona State Project Management Certification Key Skills Executive-level communication and presentation skills Financial acumen (capital vs. operational expenditures) Strong customer service and stakeholder management Excellent written and verbal communication Project planning, coordination, and documentation Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Proven leadership and strategic alignment capabilities Important Notes Local Arizona candidates only Resume must clearly list current location Candidates must be available for in-person interviews within 1 week of posting close Must be able to start within 2 weeks of offer Flexible work from home options available.
