As a Software Engineer on the Foundations, Settlements, and Transfers team, you will play a vital role in Coinbase's financial framework, ensuring the smooth and secure transfer of funds. This team manages transactions involving fiat, crypto, and internal ledgers, along with clients' assets. You will set the technical direction and mentor fellow engineers, contributing significantly to the design and scaling of our next-generation financial systems. Your Responsibilities: Design and implement new financing products and features. Develop reporting, monitoring tools, frameworks, and APIs. Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and leadership to translate vision into tangible outcomes quarterly. Enhance developer efficiency and operational excellence. Support operations and other engineering teams. What We Look For: Minimum of 2 years of software engineering experience. Proven ability in designing, building, scaling, and maintaining production services with a solid understanding of service-oriented architecture. Commitment to writing high-quality, well-tested code that satisfies customer needs. A strong passion for creating an open financial system that unites the world. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Golang, Ruby, Docker, Sinatra, Rails, Postgres, MongoDB, or Redshift. Background in building financial systems with high reliability and security. Familiarity with blockchains like Bitcoin and Ethereum. Job #: P75989 Pay Transparency Notice: Depending on your work location, the target annual base salary for this position ranges from $152,405 to $179,300 USD.
