Experience with large projects and commercial systems is highly valued.Pay: $30.00 – $50.00/hour (based on experience, work history, and ability to learn) Job Type: Full-time with overtime availableWhat You’ll DoPerform start-up functions on systems per project plans, specifications, and contract requirementsAnalyze building control and HVAC system performanceEnsure all documentation, drawings, and field notes are accurate and completeProvide project engineering support when neededTroubleshoot and resolve equipment or component issuesCommission control and HVAC systems, including DDC componentsTrain owners and peers on control systemsBuild and wire panels as neededSupport the Service Department with troubleshooting callsSkills & AbilitiesStrong troubleshooting and diagnostic skillsKnowledge of DDC control theory and applicationsExperience with electronics, electrical circuits, and HVAC systemsComputer programming, hardware, and software knowledgeAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionExcellent communication and customer interaction skillsCredentials & Experience2+ years of hands-on field experience (4-year or 2-year technical degree preferred)Strong background in HVAC and/or mechanical systemsMechanical and electrical troubleshooting expertiseEquivalent education/experience combinations consideredWhy Join The K Company?Since 1972, we’ve been setting the standard in HVAC design, installation, and service across commercial and residential markets.
