We have full-time, part-time, and PRN positions available, with same-day interviews! Provide one-on-one companionship. Offer non-medical hands-on care, which includes: Dressing Bathing Grooming Personal care Assistance with transfers Assist with housekeeping and laundry tasks. Provide pet care. Please note that temporary associates may participate in the company's 401(k) program, but are not eligible for benefits. Brookdale offers to advance fees for naturalization (Form N-400) application costs for qualified associates who have been with us for at least a year. Anticipated application window: This position will remain open for 30 days. Education and Experience: A high school diploma or GED is required. Completion of an approved Certified Nursing Assistant program is necessary. Six months of experience in providing healthcare or homecare services is preferred. Certifications, Licenses, and Other Requirements: Successful completion of a State C.N.A. course and maintain CNA certification. Reliable transportation is mandatory. Valid state identification card and a valid driver's license are preferred. Physical Demands and Working Conditions: This role involves standing, walking, sitting, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. You may work with clients in their homes, ensuring their environment remains safe and clean. Occasional exposure to communicable diseases and chemical hazards is possible, and travel frequently is required. Knowledge and Skills: Possess the ability to perform basic skills following detailed guidelines and instructions. Familiarity with facility emergency procedures and policies, including resident confidentiality and HIPAA compliance, is essential.
