Position Purpose: As a Human Resources Generalist, you will play a vital role in executing HR strategies and fostering an effective workplace. Your responsibilities will include interpreting HR policies, laws, and regulations, and executing programs that maximize our human resources. You may work across various HR functions including Associate Relations, Staffing, Compensation/Benefits, Training, and Employee Relations. Key Responsibilities: 30% Resolve various Associate Relations issues by conducting thorough investigations and managing the corrective action process in collaboration with the HR Manager. Act as a resource during unemployment claims and hearings. 10% Identify and address cultural or values breaches affecting the work environment, while offering guidance on corporate policies. 10% Facilitate the communication and enrollment process for employee benefits programs, ensuring clear understanding and access for all employees. 10% Analyze HR reports to identify trends and propose actionable plans for improvement. 15% Provide training on HRIS programs, supporting managers with transactions and system navigation. 15% Support training initiatives through the development and delivery of training programs in collaboration with the HR Manager. 10% Assist with the selection processes for leadership positions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and culture. Direct Manager/Direct Reports: Reports to the Human Resources Manager. No supervisory responsibilities. Travel Requirements: Travel may occur overnight, but is typically less than 10% of the time. Physical Requirements: Most work involves sitting comfortably, with opportunities for movement; occasional light lifting may be required. Working Conditions: Primarily in a comfortable indoor setting with infrequent exposure to any unpleasant conditions. Minimum Qualifications: Must be at least eighteen years of age. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Preferred Qualifications: Experience addressing third-party litigation and managing unemployment claims. Experience with compensation program administration. Experience in executing a company's corrective action process. Experience in delivering formal training sessions. Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field. Preferred Education: No additional education required. Minimum Years of Work Experience: 2 years of relevant experience. Competencies: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational abilities with capacity to manage multiple tasks. Knowledgeable regarding principles of employment law and HR procedures. Skilled in conflict resolution techniques. Ability to apply systematic approaches to HR challenges.
