CDL Class A Driver – Local DeliveriesLocation: East Berlin, PA Employment Type: Full-Time Shift: 1st ShiftPosition SummaryWe are looking for a reliable CDL Class A Driver to perform local deliveries of wood products and transport materials between company buildings using a box truck. This position requires safe and efficient operation of company vehicles, strong communication skills, and adherence to all DOT and company safety standards. Key Responsibilities Operate CDL Class A vehicles for local deliveries of wood products. Transport materials between company buildings using a box truck. Safely load, secure, and unload materials using appropriate equipment and procedures. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report any maintenance needs. Maintain accurate delivery records, logs, and required documentation. Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and receiving locations. Follow all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety procedures. Assist with general warehouse or yard tasks when needed. Qualifications Valid CDL Class A license required. Clean driving record and ability to meet all DOT requirements. Experience hauling wood products or similar materials preferred, but not required. Ability to operate a box truck and related equipment safely. Strong attention to safety and detail; dependable and self-motivated. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed. Work Environment Local routes-home daily. May involve exposure to outdoor weather, dusty environments, and varying temperatures. Warehouse and temperature in trailers may vary depending on temperature outside.
