Motor Coach Fleet Operations Manager

Position Summary Join our team as a Motor Coach Fleet Operations Manager, where you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the maintenance personnel and repair operations of our motor coach fleet and other company vehicles. Your leadership will ensure our fleet is operating at its best to prevent disruptions to our services. You will work closely with fleet operations, maintenance, safety, and purchasing teams to uphold compliance with federal, state, and local laws. Responsibilities and Duties Lead daily operations of the maintenance shops for the overhaul and repair of our motor coach fleet. Coordinate maintenance services across multiple locations, making key decisions on repairs for all vehicles in the fleet. Schedule mechanics and staff, allocate tasks, and provide supervision for teams across three maintenance sites. Conduct inspections of mechanics’ work and evaluate performance through quality control checks. Foster a culture of safety and implement best practices for housekeeping in maintenance operations. Identify and arrange training opportunities to enhance the skills of maintenance staff. Manage state inspections and ensure routine and preventive maintenance for all motor coach vehicles is in line with state guidelines.
