Job Description

Position Purpose: As the Field Services Director (FSD), you will play an essential role in leading and managing a dynamic team comprising District Services Managers (DSM), Assistant Market Managers (AMM), Branch Install Managers (BIM), Sales Managers (SM), and Regional Provider Managers (RPM) across multiple districts. Your primary focus will be on optimizing our pipeline, conversion rates, customer service, and provider management to achieve profitability while ensuring an exceptional installation experience for our Home Depot customers. You will be responsible for developing a high-performance team, communicating Home Services' strategic vision, ensuring safety compliance, and meeting or exceeding sales targets. Key Responsibilities: Cross-Functional Collaboration: Regularly engage with field leadership, including RVPs, regional support teams, and DMs to ensure alignment and effective communication of initiatives. Services Leadership: Drive profitability by ensuring sales teams achieve or exceed their targets. Address escalated customer concerns in collaboration with field leadership. Motivate and train field associates to develop essential selling and operational skills through coaching and mentorship. Analyze financial and operational metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and implement effective strategies. Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations while executing the Home Services strategy to promote growth and enhance customer experience. Talent Management: Foster a diverse and inclusive workforce committed to equal employment opportunity. Lead talent acquisition and retention efforts for a high-performing team across a broad geographical area. Direct Manager/Direct Reports: This position typically reports to the Senior Director of Services. This position oversees 6 Direct Reports. Travel Requirements: Expect overnight travel over 50% of the time. Physical Requirements: May require periods of continuous physical effort, including walking, standing, stooping, climbing, and lifting equipment or materials that could be heavy or awkward. Working Conditions: Generally in a comfortable environment but with occasional exposure to moderate discomfort from dust, fumes, or odors. Minimum Qualifications: Minimum eighteen years of age. Legally authorized to work in the United States. Proficient in predictive modeling, data mining, and data analysis. Preferred Qualifications: Ability to interpret financial documentation accurately. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Relevant experience in Home Services, Sales Operations, or Sales Training. Background in a retail, home improvement, or construction industry. 5+ years of professional experience in related fields. Management experience with multi-unit or geographically diverse teams. Proven ability to influence strategy and drive change effectively. Experience in adopting new technologies in business practices. Experience in formulating strategies for multiple locations. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Strong business and financial acumen. Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field. Preferred Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field. Minimum Years of Work Experience: 5 years. Preferred Years of Work Experience: 5 years.
