The Remote Business Analyst will play a crucial role in a collaborative team focused on dispute processing and data reconciliation for health insurance exchanges. In this position, you will coordinate business objectives, review presentation materials, deliver impactful content, analyze data, ensure the quality of deliverables, and communicate with internal and external stakeholders. Your contributions will also include driving continuous process improvements in the reconciliation process and working closely with training staff to educate stakeholders on managing transactions and the reconciliation process. Additionally, you will respond to ad-hoc requests from various internal and external teams. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and validate reports and presentations, covering dispute metrics, team performance, and key insights related to issuer and state performance. Identify, document, and analyze discrepancies and anomalies in automated data reconciliation and issuer dispute data while processing disputes effectively. Develop a comprehensive understanding of business rules, applying this knowledge to enhance processes, propose solutions, improve team performance, and support client objectives. Communicate effectively with internal and external clients, showcasing the ability to present to large audiences through webinars. Translate complex technical issues into clear, understandable terms for non-technical audiences. Serve as an advisor to management, executives, and stakeholders, delivering valuable insights. Document meeting minutes and monitor questions, deliverables, and action items. Create As-Is and To-Be models as part of process reengineering projects. Conduct root cause analysis and articulate findings effectively. Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent, or 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree. Experience in data analysis and stakeholder presentations. Must be a US Citizen. Candidates not meeting the minimum qualifications will not be considered. Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with SQL, Power BI, or other reporting tools. Experience in finance or healthcare sectors. Knowledge of the Affordable Care Act. Strong analytical skills to interpret data sets and identify anomalies based on business rules. Demonstrated experience in data analysis and reconciliation. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment. Proven problem-solving and critical thinking abilities. Exceptional relationship-building and self-management skills. Capable of managing multiple tasks while focusing on quality and completeness. Compensation Ranges: Compensation for this role varies based on factors like location, skill set, education, certifications, client requirements, and years of experience. This role's compensation is also influenced by ASM's overall compensation and benefits package.
