Lead Supplier Quality Engineer - Controls & Accessories

Job Summary Join our team as the Lead Supplier Quality Engineer for the Controls & Accessories commodity, responsible for elevating product quality through diligent oversight of supplier processes, verification methods, and strategic quality planning. You will play a pivotal role in driving supplier performance improvements and fostering a culture of excellence in product quality. Key Responsibilities Lead Supplier Quality Assurance and Development initiatives by focusing on Product Quality Engineering. Engage in supplier qualifications, audits, action plans, and performance monitoring, guiding key suppliers to achieve industrial excellence. Oversee production approval for hardware within the organization, ensuring compliance and quality in a range of components including electronics, mechanicals, and fluid systems, utilizing your technical expertise for strategic implementation. Act as a mentor and resource for junior team members, leading small projects and helping to achieve consensus within the team regarding quality strategies. Work independently within guidelines, with autonomy in modifying procedures and practices as long as quality and timeliness standards are met. Utilize analytical thinking to propose innovative solutions, prioritize data analysis, and leverage both internal and external resources to inform decision-making. Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or a high school diploma/GED with relevant experience. Desired Skills Strong communication abilities, problem-solving aptitude, and project management skills are essential. Proven capability to document, plan, and execute programs effectively will enhance your success in this role. This role offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 - $133,000, influenced by your experience and qualifications. Additionally, you will be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on salary performance.
