Machinist - 2nd ShiftJob Type: Full-Time Shift: 2nd Shift (2:30 pm - 11:00 pm)Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Machinist for 2nd shift (2:30pm-11:00pm) to set up and operate various machines in a machine production environment.ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate CNC and manual machines. Read and interpret blueprints, part prints, and work orders. Set up tooling, fixtures, clamps, and workpieces. Adjust machine speeds, feeds, RPMs, and other controls. Run parts and inspect using calipers, micrometers, and gauges. Prove out setups and maintain part quality and tolerances. Troubleshoot machining issues and replace worn tooling. Perform basic preventive maintenance on machines. Complete production and inventory documentation. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.QualificationsAbility to stand for extended periods. Good communication and teamwork skills. Safety-focused and detail-oriented.Skills & TrainingHigh School diploma, GED, and/or applied trade school education. Advanced shop math skills. Experience working with tight tolerances.
