Role Responsibilities Assess patients of various ages using both standardized evaluative methods and subjective observation. Deliver dedicated speech therapy sessions that enhance communication, language proficiency, fluency, vocal quality, and swallowing functions. Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team including physical therapists, occupational therapists, nursing staff, physicians, family members, and caregivers to devise cohesive care plans. Educate patients and families on therapeutic strategies to promote progress in everyday life. Conduct occasional inpatient therapy assessments and interventions, ensuring a smooth treatment transition for patients. Maintain precise and timely patient records following state, federal, and organizational standards. Engage in ongoing professional development through continuing education opportunities and peer collaborations. Qualifications Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution. Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if unaccredited by ASHA. Required Credentials State licensure to practice as a Speech Language Therapist. ASHA certification preferred (CCC-SLP). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification to be obtained within 30 days of hire.
