Requirements: MD or DO Texas Medical License CPR Certification DEA Certification Family Medicine board-certified Willingness to relocate to Austin prior to start date Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive medical histories and physicals for all new admissions within 24 hours. Manage basic medical conditions such as hypertension, cholesterol, and diabetes. Review and address abnormal lab results promptly. Provide medical consultations and follow-up care for patients. Supervise, schedule, and review charts for Physician Assistants (PAs) and Nurse Practitioners (NPs). Collaborate closely with inpatient behavioral health teams to ensure comprehensive care.
