CNA/HHA - Live In

Jfs Senior Care Cna/Hha Live In Opportunities JFS Senior Care is seeking qualified CNAs and HHAs for "live in" opportunities. Clients will be in need of assistance for non-medical tasks such as: Meal Preparation Transportation and Errands- Must Drive (Grocery Shopping, Doctor Visits, and More) Mobility (ambulation, transfers, assistance with cane/walkers) Bathing Dressing Grooming Companionship Medication Reminders Qualifications Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with physical capability to perform job-related duties Proven ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner Prior experience in a healthcare or in-home care environment (minimum of 1 year) High School Diploma or equivalent/Experience as a Caregiver, CNA or HHA, or completion of a CNA Program Hoyer Lift Experience (as needed specific to client) Must have all the following current and valid documents: HHA or C.N.A Certificate/License CPR Card Level 2 background screening completed Physical TB test results last year or Chest x-ray within last 5 years Valid driver's license Proof of Automobile Insurance- auto insurance policy must include Bodily Injury Liability Work Authorization (I-9) documentation C.E.U Certificates: (Alzheimer's, HIV/AIDS, Assistance with Self-Medication) We are an equal opportunity employer and prohibit discrimination/harassment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
