We provide essential program management and facilities engineering services globally, particularly in support of the U.S. Department of Defense (DOD) and various federal agencies. We are thrilled to announce an opening for a Construction Project Management Specialist to join our dynamic team. This exciting role is specifically dedicated to supporting the VA Milwaukee Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) Infrastructure Upgrade project. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring top-notch construction management and oversight. Key Responsibilities: Assist the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) with effective construction management for the EHRM project. Implement comprehensive project plans with a focus on Quality Assurance, Safety, Time, Cost, Change, and Information Management. Monitor construction quality and identify any discrepancies or deficiencies in the contractor's work in relation to the construction documents. Evaluate baseline schedules and determine the value of acceptable work performed on-site. Maintain detailed daily progress and inspection reports for accurate project tracking. Lead inspection and quality assurance teams to ensure thorough project oversight. Utilize construction-related software tools for monitoring, updating, and producing required project documentation while maintaining organized records. Leverage your knowledge of construction practices and site operations to effectively manage general contractors and subcontractors. Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or equivalent work experience showcasing necessary competencies. A minimum of six (6) years of construction work experience may substitute for formal education. Extensive experience in healthcare and IT construction projects/facilities. Strong working knowledge of construction practices and site operations. Proven expertise in monitoring construction for quality assurance. Ability to assess, analyze, and identify deficiencies in contractor work performance. Experience with baseline schedule assessment and construction progress evaluation. Excellent communication, organizational, and software skills, with proficiency in construction-related software tools. Capability to effectively manage technical quality, cost, and schedule when assigned. Must be able to present three relevant projects that demonstrate prior success in similar roles.
