Conducting Preventive Maintenance, Inspections, and General Repairs. Diagnosing and repairing Air and Hydraulic Brake systems, including ABS. Handling Electrical Diagnostics and Repairs. Repairing Liftgate systems along with necessary welding and fabrication. Diagnosing and repairing drivelines, steering, and suspensions. Entering repair orders and managing time accountability in the RTA Maintenance Program. Charging all parts to repair orders. Conducting Tire and Wheel End Maintenance as needed. Producing quality work efficiently. Assisting and mentoring junior mechanics to enhance their knowledge base. Performing other relevant job duties as required. We're looking for candidates who: Have at least 1 year of mechanical experience in a related field or technical training with 1 year of experience. Possess all necessary hand tools for applicable areas. Preferably have experience driving/moving Class A equipment. Have certifications in tire and wheel, brakes, HVAC, and FHWA DOT Inspections. Can repair brakes, rear doors, air systems, and electrical systems with minimal supervision. Exhibit good judgment, as direct supervision may not always be available. Hold a valid driver's license.
