Job Description

A rewarding opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support K-12 students in a dynamic school environment in Seattle, WA. This contract position will cover a leave, providing essential speech-language services to children across a variety of grade levels. Key Responsibilities: Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders within the school setting Develop individualized treatment plans that align with educational goals and student needs Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress Document and monitor student performance and adjust therapy strategies accordingly Provide support and resources to families to enhance communication skills outside of therapy sessions Qualifications/Desired Experience: Completion of CFY (Clinical Fellowship Year) preferred for Speech-Language Pathologists entering the field Experience working in school settings with pediatric populations Valid state licensure to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA is highly desirable Strong skills in pediatric speech and language therapy, with the ability to engage children across diverse age groups Location: Based in Seattle, WA, serving K-12 educational settings Benefits: Gain valuable experience working in a collaborative school environment Enhance professional skills in pediatric speech-language pathology Flexible contract duration tailored to leave coverage This role offers the unique chance to make a meaningful impact on students' communication development during a critical time.
