You will work remotely, reporting to the Director of Services, Americas. While your primary location is flexible, be prepared for occasional travel (10-30%) for client meetings and project implementations. Your Role Architect and design scalable, secure, and resilient Kubernetes infrastructure solutions tailored to customer needs across various environments. Guide clients through technical assessments, architectural reviews, and solution design to ensure seamless integration with existing infrastructure. Support pre-sales efforts by defining customer needs and creating comprehensive technical approaches. Lead deployment and lifecycle management of Kubernetes clusters, ensuring optimal workload placement and efficient networking configurations. Implement GitOps and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices to automate provisioning and cluster management. Create documentation, operational runbooks, and reference architectures for customer enablement and long-term maintainability. Enhance our practice by developing reusable delivery kits and internal training materials. Stay updated on cloud-native technologies, making recommendations for improvements in efficiency and security. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions and drive innovation. What You Will Bring 10+ years of experience in DevOps, systems administration, or infrastructure engineering roles. Extensive hands-on Kubernetes expertise, including deployment, scaling, and troubleshooting in production. Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) preferred. Proven history of architecting end-to-end container solutions focused on high availability and security. Fluency in hybrid and multi-cloud Kubernetes deployments (on-premises, AWS, Azure, GCP). Strong scripting abilities in PowerShell, Bash, and Python. Deep knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, especially within Kubernetes environments. Practical experience with IaC tools like Terraform and Ansible. Understanding of networking, security best practices, and container management. Proficient in Windows and Linux operating systems. Experience with Nutanix Kubernetes Platform (NKP) or related distributions is a plus. Architectural design expertise with certifications like TOGAF, VCDX, CCIE, or NPX. Ability to translate business needs into scalable, secure technical solutions. The compensation range for this position is USD $160,000 to $240,000 annually. Individual pay may vary based on factors like market location, job-related skills, and experience. In addition to base pay, the total compensation package may include bonuses, stock units, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical coverage, 401(k) eligibility, and paid time off.
