Competitive pay: $15.50 per hour Allied Universal® Event Services is seeking Event Security personnel. This role involves checking bags, enforcing access control, and implementing safety policies and procedures, all while providing exceptional customer service to create a positive guest experience. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Responsibilities may vary): Assist with event preparation and execution on event days. Manage entry for guests, including ticket collection/scanning, wristband/badge verification, and directing traffic at the venue. Screen guests during entry using bag searches, handheld wands, or metal detectors, and verify IDs. Safeguard guests, staff, and venue assets by monitoring for security breaches. Respond promptly to crowd control issues, providing escorts for guests when necessary. Understand and adhere to the policies and regulations of various venues and events. Ensure a positive experience for guests at entrances, aisles, and concourse areas. Offer helpful directions and suggestions to enhance guests' entertainment experiences. QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, candidates must meet each essential requirement. Adjustments can be made to enable individuals with disabilities to fulfill these functions. Must be 18 years or older. High school diploma or equivalent required. Licensing requirements may be dictated by state/local laws and could be required before employment. Successful completion of a background check and a post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test is mandatory; additional screening may be required for driving positions. Ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion. Willingness to work overtime as needed. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
