Radiologic Technologist Job Details Location: Madison, WI 53792 (Wisconsin healthcare jobs) Facility Setting: Hospital - Neuro Endovascular Imaging Unit Contract Type: Travel healthcare contract, 13 weeks Start Date: April 6, 2026 End Date: July 6, 2026 Shift: Days, 5x8-hour shifts (Monday - Friday, start times between 7:00 AM and 8:30 AM) Hours per Week: 40 No weekends or call required Holiday weeks: Option to work 4x10-hour shifts Parking: Permit required; alternative transportation options available Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,600 - $2,790 Radiologic Technologist Qualifications Minimum 2 years of clinical interventional imaging experience required Graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology (required) Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (preferred) State of Wisconsin Licensed Radiographer (required) ARRT (R) certification (required); ARRT (V) highly preferred BLS certification (American Heart Association) required Experience with trauma level II required; trauma level I preferred Neuro (stroke) imaging experience preferred Experience with GE and Siemens imaging equipment preferred Epic charting system experience preferred Must live at least 50 miles from the facility (local candidates not accepted) Healthcare Responsibilities Collaborate with vascular interventional physicians and nurses to deliver high-quality patient care Utilize multiple imaging modalities for diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures (Fluoro, Ultrasound, CT, MR) Image inpatient, outpatient, pediatric, and intra-operative patients using advanced clinical skills Perform and assist with specialized procedures: chest tube placement, embolization, gastrostomy tube placement, IVC filter removal, paracentesis, thoracentesis, TIPS, and central venous access Set up equipment, prep access sites, and maintain sterile technique in clinical settings Float to other hospital units or locations as needed Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to isolation precautions/PPE protocols Stock supplies and ensure readiness of the imaging suite Experience the best of Wisconsin healthcare while advancing your radiology career at a top-ranked hospital in Madison.
