What You'll Be Doing: As the Director, you will play a pivotal role in accelerating growth through data-driven market insights and strategic expansion. You will serve as a trusted advisor to product, marketing, and executive leadership, directing decisions related to product roadmap development, market entry strategies, competitive positioning, and mergers & acquisitions. This role combines extensive market research, commercial strategy, and corporate development expertise to identify growth opportunities, evaluate partnership and acquisition prospects, and shape the long-term strategic vision of Enablon. Key Responsibilities: Market Intelligence & Strategic Insights Develop the strategic agenda emphasizing market, customer, and competitive intelligence. Conduct market sizing, segmentation, and assessments to identify high-growth areas. Create and manage analytical tools and dashboards that support strategic decisions. Prepare regular market reviews to guide product and commercial strategies. Product Strategy & Go-to-Market Support Advise teams on product differentiation, positioning, and prioritization based on market requirements. Assist in product launches by validating market needs and conducting competitive analyses. Analyze customer feedback and win/loss data to enhance targeting and messaging strategies. M&A Strategy & Execution Identify and evaluate potential acquisition targets aligned with strategic objectives. Conduct financial modeling and valuation analyses for prospective deals. Oversee due diligence processes, coordinating with cross-functional teams and external advisors. Collaborate with integration teams to ensure effective post-merger alignment and value realization. Executive Advisory & Strategic Planning Prepare investment memos, business cases, and presentations for senior leadership. Partner with Wolters Kluwer on industry research to support strategic planning. Drive cross-functional initiatives with actionable insights and strategic recommendations. Key Deliverables: Strategic Market Intelligence Repository Market Insight Briefs & Gap Analyses Competitive Landscape Reports & Heat Maps Win/Loss and Customer Loyalty Reports Business Cases for New Markets or Offerings M&A Pipeline and Target Evaluation Frameworks Quarterly Strategic Reviews & Executive Presentations Post-Merger Integration Strategy & Synergy Tracking You're a Great Fit If You Have: 8-12 years of experience in market strategy, corporate development, M&A, or strategy consulting. Proven capability in conducting market research, competitive analysis, and leading strategic planning initiatives. Strong financial acumen with experience in deal structuring and due diligence. Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, especially in presenting to senior leadership. Experience in SaaS, ESG, or enterprise software sectors is preferred. An MBA or equivalent advanced degree is strongly preferred. Nice to Have (Not Required): Familiarity with EHS, ESG, or Operational Risk domains. Experience within enterprise B2B or SaaS markets. A background in management consulting, corporate strategy, or market analytics. Knowledge of data visualization or analytical tools (e.g., Tableau, SQL).
