Job Description Join our dynamic team as a Logistics and Human Resources Specialist, where you will play a crucial role in supporting our logistics associates in areas such as employee relations, performance management, recruitment, candidate selection, and onboarding. Collaborate closely with the Total Rewards manager and HR director of logistics on various HR projects and administrative tasks. Work alongside associates and management at our regional distribution centers and the corporate office to promote understanding of HR policies, procedures, and compliance with laws and regulations. Responsibilities Assist the Total Rewards/Logistics director in implementing HR processes and enhancing associate communications. Support performance excellence discussions and management plans. Facilitate the recruitment and onboarding processes for various business units. Provide guidance on compensation matters, ensuring alignment with the company compensation plan. Assist with training initiatives and individual development programs. Collaborate with corporate managers on workforce planning and needs assessment. Analyze current facility processes and seek input from stakeholders for continuous improvement. Communicate project completion details to field teams to ensure effective implementation. Manage HR department functions and support regional distribution and floral centers. Deliver training for leadership development and HR systems. Ensure compliance with I-9, FMLA, ADA, and EEOC regulations. Monitor leave processes to align with medical and workers' compensation guidelines. Act as a liaison with the Accounting Service Center on various projects. Oversee the Employment Tax Credit program for effective implementation. Travel to collaborate with corporate department managers on workforce planning. Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation. Qualifications Minimum 2+ years of experience in HR functions. 3+ years of management experience. Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive information. Proven ability to build and maintain cooperative business partnerships. Excellent prioritization skills for managing multiple responsibilities. A collaborative approach to working within a team environment. Effective communication skills across all organizational levels. Desired Bachelor's Degree. Experience in HR compliance and government regulations. Certification as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR). Experience in recruiting, training, employee relations, and compensation. Familiarity with HR information systems and payroll management.
